We love wallpapers. ALOT. Like really. They can completely transform a space in a way that paint or furniture can’t. Here are two wallpapers we are absolutely head over heels for at the moment.

Ajiro Fanfare wallpaper by Maya Romanoff

We were totally stopped in our tracks when we came across this wallpaper recently. I mean, come on, a wood veneer in an Art Deco pattern – absolute heaven! We can see this being adapted across multiple styles depending on the tone chosen and as a recycled material, it also ticks the sustainability boxes.  Tara is heading to New York in 6 weeks so she’s going to check out their NY showroom and take lots of photos. Stay tuned for a review of the product after her trip.

Prism wallpaper by James Dunlop

It doesn’t come much more statement making than this! This pattern could have easily slipped into a manic too-much-for-the-eyes situation, but with the contrast of darker tones (black, metallic charcoal and navy) against the lighter blue, the pattern is visually balanced and keeps the eye dancing across the wall. What you can’t tell from this photo is that the metallic charcoal is textured, so there’s an added tactile element that reflects the light. It’s quite reasonably priced too. WIN!
